Common Questions

Get answers to the questions I hear most from prospective clients.

Every engagement starts with a free consultation where I learn about your goals, your constraints, and what you're trying to accomplish. From there, I put together a proposal with a clear scope and timeline. Most projects follow the same rhythm: Discover, Strategize, Implement, and Optimize. I keep communication direct throughout, so you always know where things stand.

Pricing depends on the scope of the work — a short workshop is priced differently than a custom software build. I typically work on a project basis or a retainer, depending on what fits best. During the free consultation, I'll walk through your goals and give you a transparent, honest estimate before any commitment is made.

It depends entirely on scope. A focused AI training workshop can be scheduled within a couple of weeks. A custom software build or a larger automation project takes longer, since it involves discovery, development, and testing. I always set clear milestones up front so you know what to expect and when.

Not at all. Most of my clients are business owners and teams who are not developers or AI specialists — that's exactly who I build for. I explain things in plain language, and my job is to translate what's possible into something you can actually use, whether that's a piece of software, a new workflow, or a skill your team picks up in training.

Sessions are hands-on, not lecture-style. Depending on your needs, that might mean a live workshop for your whole team, one-on-one coaching, or a short series of sessions building toward a specific outcome — like confident prompt-writing, choosing the right tools for your workflow, or setting safe-usage guidelines for your organization. I tailor the format and content to your team's starting point.

Yes. A lot of my work is improving existing systems rather than replacing them — whether that's adding a feature to software you already run, cleaning up and improving an existing website, or automating a process that currently eats up your time. I always start by understanding what you have before recommending a rebuild.

You work directly with me from the first conversation through delivery — no account managers, no handoffs between departments. I keep engagements fixed-scope and practical, and I only recommend tools and solutions I'd use myself. My focus is on solving your actual problem, not upselling a bigger package.

All three. I work with small business owners, nonprofit directors, and individuals — whether you're running a company, leading a nonprofit, building a side project, or simply want to get better at using AI in your own work.

Yes. Alongside the technical work, I help small businesses and nonprofits with strategic planning, financial modeling and forecasts, and business model design. It comes out of my background in startup and growth strategy and years of financial modeling and system-building, so I can connect the plan to the numbers behind it.
